Ellison is a talented guitar player and prolific songwriter who played rhythm guitar in Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown’s band in the 1980s, then went on to form his own blues band, opening shows for rock and blues legends. Many of his compositions have been used in the soundtracks of popular TV shows and one feature film. “This is one fine blues record. If you like your blues with grit, earthy guitar and a fine backing band, buy this CD!”– 12 Bar Rag
“Scott’s slightly gruff voice adds character to the delivery, and he’s no mean player, either. Loads of fine licks are there to be enjoyed throughout.” – Blues Matters
