The Last of the Boogiemen is 12 tracks of sheer rocking delight as Rusty Ends and Hillbilly Hoodoo combine boogie blues with rockabilly to produce an uptempo and intoxicating mix of jumpin’ and pumpin’ sounds with roots music at its fore. Keeping it simple makes the album work a treat and the feel-good vibe resonates throughout and the overall effect is like a trip back to the 50’s where it all began.
