  • This is Liz’s Fourth album on Earwig. Once more, she shows off her considerable talents as a songwriter, vocalist and guitarist on this all-original album with its mix of spicy, naughty, humorous and soulful tunes. She has surrounded herself with some of Chicago’s finest musicians: sax great Eddie Shaw blows his horn on two tunes; other guests include piano master Allen Batts, Rodney Brown on tenor sax, and Twist Turner on drums.

Liz carries on the tradition of the classic blues singer; sensual and sensuous, with a powerful, evocative soul-drenched voice. She sings self-penned songs leading the listener on an emotional and passionate journey through the minefield called love.
